WWE Moonsault NFT Platform

Leading entertainment franchise WWE is launching an official marketplace for the company’s upcoming NFT endeavours. The platform, which is called ‘WWE Moonsault,’ was announced by Stephanie McMahon, the company’s Chief Brand Officer and wife of legendary wrestler Triple H, at a recent conference during Austin’s SXSW festival. 

WWE Moonsault will serve as a space for members to discuss their favourite WWE superstars, receive exclusive content from premium live events every single month, and receive information on upcoming collectible NFTs. It will also be the home of the official WWE Universe Discord community.

The official launch date of the platform is yet to be announced, however the company intend to make it go live prior to the franchise’s flagship event ‘WrestleMania 38,’ which takes place on April 2nd-3rd. Those interested can sign up to an email list to receive further details on the launch.

As stated by Scott Zanghellini, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Development, the new digital space is a product of the company’s multi-year relationship with Fox’s Blockchain Creative Labs, which was formed in October 2021: “This new partnership allows us to deepen our relationship with Fox, as we continue to explore new and creative ways to engage our passionate fanbase”.

The carnage-filled franchise first broke onto the NFT scene this time last year, through the launch of an Undertaker NFT collection to celebrate ‘WrestleMania 37’. Before inking a deal with Blockchain creative Labs, the franchise then launched a John Cena NFT collection to commemorate its annual SummerSlam event.
