Splinterlands P2E NFT 2 Billion Games Played

Giant of the play-to-earn gaming arena, Splinterlands, has proudly announced its grandest achievement yet, racking up a monumental two billion individual games played in its first year of operations.

Splinterlands officially launched exactly one year ago, on March 25, 2021, and since then has become one of the top players in the industry. This latest milestone for the company arrived off the back of their recent $1 million unboxing event held on March 17, which then gave them the impetus to pass the two billion mark in total games played. Therefore, cementing its position as the most engaged with title in the blockchain gaming space.

The event spearheaded a surge in activity on the platform, which also saw investment firm, Side Door Ventures, team up with gaming platform, Balthazar. Together, they launched a goliath $1million worth of Splinerlands packs, that were revealed at the event, in addition to a live lottery for an ultra-rare gold foil card, as well a whopping 3000 Balthazar scholarships.

This incredible achievement will no doubt highlight the continued upward trajectory of this now polished platform which in all likelihood, is still only in its infancy. Therefore, expect many more great things to come from the Splinterlands team, and its many partners.
