Imagine accessing all your favorite NFT art along with all the necessary data through your TV, all in one place, with one click. Well, that’s entirely possible now with the launch of NFT Labs’ first Connected TV (CTV) application, StreamNFT. StreamNFT will feature Web3 integration and a focus on one-of-one digital art.
The channel has indexed over half a million NFTs from the most popular art marketplaces, including Foundation, Nifty Gateway, Rarible, and SuperRare. The selected NFTs have been ordered, sorted and ranked in order to bring out the best content on CTV. Registered users can “Like”, “Dislike”, and “Pin” artwork from within a Stream, which allows NFT Labs to further refine and customize the stream and tailor it to the viewer’s interests.
Users can find data such as title, description, created date, marketplace of origin, and last sale price in the StreamNFT Channel. The information is accessed by simply pushing “up” or “down” when viewing an NFT in the Channel. StreamNFT also presents the price information of the last sale of the NFT, converted to dollars, for ease of understanding.
StreamNFT works on an estimated 60 million Roku-enabled TVs in the marketplace today, featuring support for 720p resolution all the way up to 2160p 4K resolution, on all Roku-enabled streaming devices and Roku platform televisions. It is designed for both the general Roku user as well as NFT connoisseurs, offering powerful customization options.
The channels also uses a software-based solution which allows users to put up their NFTs on a TV simply and easily. This can be done by installing StreamNFT from the Roku Channel Store, and then logging in with your Ethereum-based wallet. Your NFTs are downloaded from the blockchain automatically, and optimized to display on your existing television, including images, audio, and video.
If you have a Roku, you can add the StreamNFT Channel by searching “NFT” on your Roku device, or installing it through here.
