Cryptoart Sundays NFT Marso

Welcome to CryptoArt Sundays! This week I introduce you to the wonderful Marso. Marso is an exceptionally talented artist from the Philippines. I love how her art pieces take you on a journey to other dimensions.

In her own words, which I think best describe her art, her work takes “every hippie soul on a visual trip through kaleidoscopic fractals”. Her artworks have her own signature style through the use of eye candied colours and fine geometric lines.

Let’s dive into this week’s interview, and see what this amazing artist has to share with us about her NFT art journey. And of course, also check out her mind-blowing creations below!

How did you find out about the NFT space, and what attracted you to create your own NFTs?

I was a digital artist who longed to be as valuable as a traditional artist. The first time that I heard about NFTs’ capability to give out provenance to digital assets was mind-blowing for me. From that moment, I realized how NFTs can revolutionize a new art and I wanted to be early on that part of that revolution.

How often do you create?

I try to create personal work as often as possible. I got caught up when I was hacked earlier this year, luckily I have friends who helped me get back on my feet through flipping and collecting, now I am more confident to get back up on my art journey.

What is your creative process?

1. Have a purpose for your art, what is it for and why you are doing it
2. Formulate a concept around that purpose
3. Sketches.
4. Drafting
5. Finalizing
6. Coloring
7. Editing
8. Rest
9. Re-evaluate
10. Revise or be content

Are there any CryptoArtists you would love to collaborate with?

I would love to collaborate with musicians and different artist who use different mediums. I dream to collaborate with TOKiMonsta, I love her music, I would also love to collaborate with more prominent projects such as CyberKongs, 3landers and karafuru. Also, I am open to collaborating with friends, any creative thing I am down!

What do you think the future of CryptoArt will look like?

CryptoArt will shape a new phase of the artworld, I think it is time to be more appreciative of an arts purpose and utility. At the same time, it protects the artist and it saves space in the real world.

What are you currently working on?

I am working on a project with Cryptowallstreet titled “Bike a day”. A collection of Twitter covers that would commemorate April 19 or Bike Day.

Where can collectors find your work?

My collectors can find me on Foundation and OpenSea. I will be releasing NFTs soon on Solana too, but I don’t have a link yet.
